I'm going to have to rant here for a minute--

It is generally considered standard procedure to post to newsgroups and
mailing list using text only--no HTML.  If it is just one or two posts here
and there, it doesn't really matter, but this last thread warrants some
attention.

There was something like 7 different people quoted each with their own font,
font size, and even color.

Typically, it is also considered Polite to quote ONLY what is relevant to
your particular post.

If we can make a concerted effort to follow the conventions for newsgroup
and mailing list posting, I think we'd all appreciate it.

I am trying to dig around to find a this really killer FAQ that would be of
some assistance in this sort of thing, but am coming up empty.  Anyone know
where a really good FAQ on posting to newsgroups, etc. is?
