Hello,
Has anyone experience with a dutch domain on a
RAQ2?
I only have one raq2, so the www server
is also my pri. dns server.
I've set up a virtual account as my secondairy
nameserver, Network Solutions
didn't make a problem of it (having only one
nameserver).
The Dutch nic isn't that easy.. they require two
different dns servers.
They have got a tool on their site to check if your
nameserver is set up correctly.
It seems the tool doesn't see we only have one
nameserver, but we get a few
errors:
1. nameserver hostname is
www
2. nameserver
nameserv1.dynamic-it.com doesn't publish nameserver
nameserv1.dynamic-it.com
3. primary SOA mname www.dynamic-it.com diffrent from primary
nameserv1.dynamic-it.com
we get the same errors for
nameserv2.dynamic-it.com
We're just starting discovering the DNS settings..
is there anything we can do about this?
Perhaps someone already has some experience with
foreign (Dutch?) nic's?
An example file would be very nice.
