Yes it is, but in the end the rom kernel provided me with what I needed
to get the system up and running. That and mounting the livecd as my
nfsroot-x86. Which gave me the tools to install Gentoo.

I am using their rom and romutils.

I do not expect much from Sun. However most of the developers on that
rom project subscribe to these lists. The source forge ones have little
to no traffic. Hoped I would catch some of the same eyes by posting here
and to cobaltfacts.
