[cobalt-developers] 300 GB Maxtor HDD in Qube 3

Hi,

I'm trying to get a 300 GB Maxtor HD working in a Qube 3. The HD has
already been lowlevel formated (which took some days). The kernel
freezes in the boot process when it is trying to detect the
partitions on the drive (please see below screenshot). The system has
cmos romrev 2.9.36 and the kernel is 2.4.19C7_III.

Can someone give me hint on how to change the kernel commandline so I can
try to change the parameters for hdc (like nodma, fixed geometry)?

There seems to be no lilo on the machine I don't have a clue how to tell
the kernel what to do but the machine has to have the setting somewhere as you
can go:
[root 2.4]# cat /proc/cmdline
console=ttyS0,115200 ip=off
and there are some parameters.

Any other experience in getting large disk up and running in Qube 3 are
much appreciated too.
