I don't know much about the XTR, but as far as I know most generic
network cards will work. Go to Sun's website, find the login or
create a username screen. Then look around, I believe it's under
Cobalt patches, but you should find a download to download the OSR
CD, it's in ISO format. So you'll need a CD burner. I use Nero on a
Windows machine. Download the ISO, burn it to a CD as an image, if
you just drag and drop it WON'T work. You have to burn it as an
image. Put the CD in, connect the crossover cable to eth1 on your
XTR and your computer, and restart your computer. Make sure you set
in your computers BIOS to boot from CD, this will load up Linux on
your computer, and tell you what to do.
