Found it, thanks a lot (http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-developers/2003-April/039215.html).
I will study the firmware and do some testing.
By the way, I don't have the original Qubes. I extracted the ROM of one of them. Could anyone with an original Qube 3 verify the MD5 sum? Just to know if they have a different ROM. If you're curious, I have some pics of the machines here: http://www.ag0ny.com/misc/qube3
This is what I can see on my machines:
merry:/home/users/ag0ny/romutils# cat /etc/issue
Cobalt Linux release 6.0 (MMQube2)
Kernel 2.2.16C7 on an i586
merry:/home/users/ag0ny/romutils# uname -a
Linux merry.ag0ny.com 2.2.16C7 #1 Fri Sep 8 15:58:03 PDT 2000 i586 unknown
merry:/home/users/ag0ny/romutils# ./flashtool -r > flash.rom
merry:/home/users/ag0ny/romutils# md5sum flash.rom
74c8b50156958ac14ded0b537edb4c84 flash.rom
And this is a dmesg:
Linux version 2.2.16C7 (root@freakshow) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #1 Fri Sep 8 15:58:03 PDT 2000
