True if you "lease" it rather than buy it. But you can buy it for less
than half the cost of a Plesk license, and then it doesn't have any
time-limits in the license.
Both licenses come with free upgrades, but only the "lease" license
comes with unlimited support. They appear to have everything automated
and I don't like the idea of them being able to look into my system
automatically at any time.

I've discussed this with them, and I see it as a more serious problem
than they do. Yes, they say they'll move licenses between IP#s for you,
but they don't have an answer to "what happens if I make a big
investment and you go out of business and I have to renumber my boxes".
My hope is at some point they'll understand that if I decide to depend
on their product they've got to figure out a way to protect me as well
as themselves.
In the meantime, I've gotten one license for testing purposes and I've
posted elsewhere in this thread information on logging into my box and
checking it out.
