Subject: [cobalt-developers] ? imagemagick
Had a client ask about installing imagemagick. Any plus/minuses with
allowing this program to run on a RaQ550?
Thanks
GNH

Well, it can be a pain in the butt sometimes to install. Especially
if you use their RPMS. I saw they had RaQ550 RPMS at:
http://www.nuonce.net/imagemagick.php They work pretty well on a few
RaQ 550's that I had installed them on. It includes EVERYTHING. Using
these RPMS, you can then Compile support into PHP for Imagick. If you
do not use the Imagick, you will just need to make system calls to modify
the images. No big performance hit that I have noticed.
Thanks,
Brian
