That looks good, now, your method, do you really shut down all the services
before performing it??
and I assume that you move the backup off the local server over a network
right? perhaps NFS??

I put it in there to remind me. But, if it makes you warm and happy inside,
you can do it.
Currently I am just keeping it on the server. I never set up an NFS server
before, so my Cobalt does not support it. But, I would like to FTP it or
something eventually.
