Hi Dave,
i don't know whether this works on a 550, but i use this procedure on several
RaQ4r and RaQ XTR. I pack these directories as *.tgz an put them by ftp / yafc
on a big backup-Server, i mean just a server with ftp and many disks:
- each directory in the / (root)
but:
/etc/httpd
/home/sites/siteXXX (each site as one *.tgz)
and some more directories in the /home-dir as i installed some
more software in there.
These backups helped me several times. As far as i know the cobalt backups
don't backup data AND configuration. So i use my own simple tar-scripts.
Hope this helps.
Yours
Jan*
