RE: [cobalt-developers] email configuration and dns

MX entries are for inbound mail, which you say is working ok. If
outbound mail is acting funny I'd check the relay settings. Form mail is
possible - use a CGI or other script - FrontPage makes it really easy.
Hope this helps. Email if you need more info/help.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] email configuration and dns

Hi,

i just configure a raq4i as mailserver. i can receive all mails an send
mails to internal users, but not to the internet.

in dns Parameters i use:
xxx.de -> ip-address
...

i added a mx record:
mail.xxx.de -> mail is sent to the High priority mail server -> xxx.de

what is wrong?

A second question: is there anything like formmail - sending a html-form
as mail?

best regards and thanks in advance
