RE: [cobalt-developers] Restoring from the CMD Line

Its the Qube 3. I installed the Qube3-All-Security-4.0.1-15714 update (CCE
daemon security update) which was released over the weekend.

I got to the login GUI, I entered the admin username and password and then I
got the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cce_new() in
/usr/sausalito/ui/libPhp/CceClient.php on line 28

I did try to restart as you suggested and it didn't work.

I have been using the backup facility that comes with the Qube and it places
the backup files on a share on a fileserver which we have got.

I can telnet into the Qube without any problems.

Thanks for the help so far. How do I find the Cobalt Users List? I have
only been able to find this Developers one, the Security and the Announce
lists so far.

Regards,

James Nesbitt

What server model? And which PKG files did you install? I assume you mean
that you can't login via the admin GUI. Do you get the login dialog box?
If not, what happens? It's possible that the GUI's Apache isn't running.
I'd advise troubleshooting since it may be a simple fix.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv restart if it isn't listed in "ps aux". It'll
either appear as /usr/sbin/httpd.admsrv -f /etc/admserv/conf/httpd.conf
(RaQ4)or /usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/admserv/conf/httpd.conf (RaQ4) or maybe
something else (depending on which model you're running).

What type of backup? Generated how and a backup of what specifically?

More details are necessary. BTW, this isn't really a developers issue so
you might consider moving to cobalt-users which has a larger subscriber
base.
