No reason why not...I've an ATA66 controller in it, and that certainly
works. I'm not sure you could use it as a VGA console (no bios support),
but X should come up.

Long time ago, cobalt use to have ftp.nl.cobalt.com and on that site, they
actually
had Xfree86 as a PKG file for Raq3/4. That worked like a charm for me! I
use X-Win32
and had NO problems with it! If your looking to setup it up as a term
server. I still
have that PKG floating around, if anyone wants it, I can setup for a
download.
