The resurrection of Solaris x86 and bundling it with the RaQ LX50 is a highly political move. In the past the x86 Solaris versions were hurting Sun server sales as IT personel could be trained on Intel servers running Solaris instead of using more expensive Sun servers for the training. However, without GUI even the Linux version of this server will not appeal to the usual Cobalt customers. What a shame. -- With best regards, Michael Stauber mstauber@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unix/Linux Support Engineer
