Is the server new and only just being loaded?
I also had this problem on my RaQ4 and it persisted for about a week,
with rebooting not resolving it, until the server packed up totally.
After the server was reformatted (which cost me), the flashing ceased.
I've had the server for less than a month, so far. Events leading to
the crashing of the server included incorrect trial and error
installations of imagemagick and Xserver. I was also led to understand
that some other applications had been incorrectly installed into the
root directory. (I gave my developers direct access to the server)
If you've had the server running fine for a while, and this flashing has
suddenly developed unprovoked, without the installation of any new
software or application, that would be different from what happened to
my server.
I suspect this didn't help at all, but if an application is being
installed "wrong", this could be the cause. What I have learnt is that
the Cobalt RaQ4 likes to remind it's owners that it's not a full blooded
Red Hat Linux server and thus shouldn't be treated like on.
