A 4015 can happen for many reasons. Corrupted RPM files which fail to install
can cause it, or a scripting problem in the upgrade_me. Even when you run out
of diskspace on [/] during the installation a 4015 will be all you've get as
indicator.
As you said: Best is to take the PKG apart (tar zxvf package-name.pkg) and to
look at the upgrade_me and other enclosed files for the cause.
