If there is going to be an upgrade on the XTR's from the current kernel
to a 2.4 kernel, is there a way that multi processor support can be added.
I do not think the current Cobalt kernels have support for multiple
processors?
I imagine someday someone will want two processor in their XTR. Why not,
there are two slots for processors. The only question is will the kernel
recognize and use the second processor.
Not something I am willing to experiment with at the moment, but would
love to hear any comments or thoughts.
Anyone actually try adding a second processor?
