I just tried it out on a test raq and it seems by default AllowOverride
is set to None which means .htaccess files do not work. If you edit
access.conf and change "AllowOverride Off" to "AllowOverride
AuthConfig", then .htaccess files can be used.
I don't think I'd want the install pkg to make this kind of change.

To be honest, I'm quite new to Raq's, and I only have access to a
clients machine, and one kindly provided as a testing bed by cobaltworld.com.
It's been tested on a RaQ 3 and 4, not sure about 2 though.
Cheers,
Alex
