This is often, but not always, a problem with using CNAME records as the
target of an MX record, at least according to the sendmail reference
book "sendmail" from O'Reilly.

But not necessarily <frown>.

There are good procedures in the book, in the sendmail online
documentation (www.sendmail.org), and in the "Linux Sendmail
Administration" book from Sybex, that will help you trace this sort of
thing.

We're happy to do it on a time basis, and we guarantee our work (if we
can't fix it there's no charge), but it I really can't quote a charge
<frown>.

I'm not discouraging other people from making suggestions here; I've
already suggested you look at your DNS.
