I have a site that has alot of files, images, pdf files. Its taking alot
of bandwidth off my server. I noticed under the control panel > bandwidth
I can put a bandwidth limit on the site in kbps. What is a standard here
so that i am fair to the client?
I see it as how many people with what bandwidth connections need to
download how much at one time at what throughput.
I often use 150 in this field, on sites that I am feeling generous, I put
200-300. No one ever complains about site speed, but I have all pretty low
traffic sites that don't have a lot of big downloads going on simultaneously.
