I upgraded our school's web page to Frontpage 2002. Now I am told that our

to publish.

It has been stated numerous times that Microsoft has now made the Frontpage
2002 extensions not compatible with previous Frontpage
extensions. Sun/Cobalt employees have said they are not making changes yet.
Quote from Taco:
"Thank you ;) As far as I know engineering has evaluated the 'need' for
FP2002 server extensions, and as Microsoft failed to create FP2002 server
extension that are backward compatible with earlier FP versions I believe
Sun Cobalt had decided not to release FP2002 server extensions for now. This
might change in the future when there is a way to select between FP2000/2002
on a site by site basis.
Anyway, this will then be a normal software update/patch, not something you
would find at http://pkg.cobalt.com

If the computer were upgraded for you, anyone else using Frontpage would no
longer be able to use their program. When working with computers or
software that you do not have complete control over, it is best to ask
questions before buying new equipment or software to ensure
compatibility. You may want to move your site to some place that they only
offer Frontpage 2002 support. But ask first.
