Problem,
Procmail wont allow you to use $HOME/.procmailrc files on the Cobalt raq
4
due to all home directories being group writable.
Procmail hates this and sees the file as suspicious. Logs it in
/var/log/maillog.
And skips the file when delivering mail.
But if I remove group write on the home directory it lets me filter out
spam with
the procmailrc file rule sets.
It would be a pain to remove this write permission by hand on all users
home
directories. Any ideas?
How do we force all new users created to have group write removed? And
is this a good idea? Will anything break?
Otherwise, there are some great anti-spam filtering rules (recipies)
being maintained
on the Internet should anyone want to copy them to their Raq's.
