Thank you Alex.
The closest I have managed to get to cocoon2 is to cvs it off apache.org and
then deciding to try the latest tarball instead of going too far out in
'bleeding-edge' land. If I get Tomcat flying, I'll give cocoon1 a shot
based upon your experiences. Either that or I'll see about using export
DISPLAY=myhost.com : 0 and working around the X11 prob. That one bit me
yesterday when I was playing with xweb from sourceforge.net. I think Batik
requires the X11 for the SVG. Thanks for the heads up.
Are you using the Cobalt JDK or another version? I'm afraid I'll mess up a
lot of nice perl and bash scripting that keeps Tomcat in line if I hose this
install and put a linux rpm or something on the machine with Tomcat. Maybe
I ought to scour the newsgroups at deja for Tomcat horror stories and see if
I can find a match.
Any help with Tomcat would be appreciated.
cheers!
