[cobalt-developers] upgrade python?

i'd like to do an rpm upgrade of python from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 using redhat 6.2 rpms.

is this likely to cause any problems?  does any cobalt software depend on python?  

i get the impression cobalt's management software, etc is all in perl.
