Login as root, edit the file /etc/crontab (using vi or pico)
Find the line '02 4 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily'
Change this to '02 1 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily'
Save and restart cron by executing /etc/rc.d/init.d/crond restart
