Does anyone know whether it is possible to have separate gateways for
each eth0 and eth1? I have 2 routers and 2 DSL lines, my QUBE3 is
our mail server and I would like to allow switching from 1 gateway
to the other upon any downtime on DSL line 1. i.e. a backup
configuration. each of the IP addresses assigned to QUBE3 have been
NAT at router. I can get each to work, but don't know how to make
the DSL2 gateway come alive upon death of DSL 1 or any intermitten
downtime without manual intervention. And my experience in this
area is fairly new...
This is called "multihoming", and will require involvement from your
ISPs. If you don't have a "business-class" DSL account with them, they
might not be willing to do this. See

neat overview of multihoming. This is not for the timid.
