RE: [cobalt-developers] Custom Error pages on a RAQ4i

For the ErrorDocuments, I know that it has to do with postgreSQL and how the
Cobalt Error Documents are enforced no matter what... No one at regular tech
support was able to comment on this issue although it is working fine in Raq
3 but for some unknown reasons it wasn't flexible on the Raq 4s 'cause maybe
Professional Support can kicks in :)

I have a similar problem with addhandler scripts in .htaccess files working
n a RAQ3 but not on a RAQ4

On a RAQ3 what you added would work as I do it with many domains.

However on a raq4 it does not.

There must me something in httpd.conf that sets out what the .htaccess can
do..

Perhaps Cobalt PSO can give an answer.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] Custom Error pages on a RAQ4i

I am managing a RAQ4i, and there has been a specific request made to
engineer custom 404 error pages.

Having looked through the Knowledge Base, I have found that the solution
lies with .htaccess files. I have found the supposed syntax for the content
of this file and created one in a test directory.

The content of the file is:

ErrorDocument 404 /errors/dra404.htm

and nothing else. When I trigger the situation in this folder that should
result in an error I get a "Server Configuration Error". In fact if I point
a browser at anything in this folder I get a "Server Configuration Error",
even though the file exists. Everything else on the server is working fine.

I am aware that maybe there should be some change made to the access.conf
file that is default on the RAQ4i, but I cannot figure out what it is. At
this time the .htaccess file in my test directory is the only one I have
placed on the server

Help!!
