install used this option ( phpinfo() shows it ), why did 4.0.6 ./configure
fail with missing libraries when it was included in the configure list?
Mmm, I could conclude it was not build on your system, but rather on a
development system (that had all the libs), then the binary where copied.
Therefore the bins have support for libs (or at least think they have) that
are unexistant on the system.
