RE: [cobalt-developers] brand new XTR: "Forbidden" error

This is very concerning to me if this is the case. I ordered a XTR, a
couple months ago as a backup for a RaQ3. I've not even had the opportunity
to fire the thing up yet and sure don't need additional problems. I would
be interested in hearing a response to this accusation of the XTR buggy
implementation.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] brand new XTR: "Forbidden" error

Hi Cobalt Developers,

I just installed a brand new XTR, followed the steps to set up a
network configuration and an admin user and then, I tried to
connect to the servers admin page.

I see the frames and the menu but in the main frame I get a
"Forbidden - You do not have permission to access the requested
file on this server." error in the following sections:

  Server Management -> Site Management
  Server Management -> Control Panel -> *
  Server Management -> Backup and Restore -> Control
  Server Management -> Maintenance -> Storage
  Server Management -> Maintenance -> System Information
  Server Management -> Active Monitor
  Personal File -> Account

What is this? Seems to be very corrupted. I called your support
number in the Netherlands and somebody from Cobalt told me that
the XTR is extremely buggy and that you take back every XTR. He
also told me that there is no fixed version now and advised me to
get an RaQ 4r. Is this true??

Something might be interesting: If I try to use the function

  Personal Profile -> Backup

he shows the error message

  Authenticated user does not have a home directory. Aborting.

Do you have any ideas how to fix the problem or is there any way to
force the XTR to do the initial configuration process again when
starting it?

Viele Grüße
Alexander Lucke
