I have installed separate copies of majordomo 1.94.5 on several generations
of RaQs without affecting the majordomo installation tied to the GUI. I do
not know if overwriting the current majordomo installation will break the
GUI implementation of majordomo. If you want to take advantage of digests,
archives and do things like restict posting to members of related lists, use
majordomo together with programs like bulkmailer and demime I've done all of
that successfully using my own majordomo installations. I don't know if
that's the answer you were looking for, but if you're trying to overwrite
the current installation and don't get sufficient feedback on list, I'd
suggest contacting Cobalt directly or going through all of the Cobalt code
to see how the GUI implementation will be affected.
