(I tried sending this to the list around 27 Mar 2001, but did not see it
appear on the list. If it did so, please accept my appologies.)
I am running into an issue which I cannot find a reference to in either
the Developers or Users lists. I administer a RaQ3 that handles only
mail, and has several domains does so for. For these domains, it is set
to "Accept mail for domain." The site name is of the form
mail.domain1.com.
The issue I am running into involves mailing lists on one of the
domains. The list is not set to allow unsubscribed postings (to prevent
spam and whatnot), and has both external recipients and registered users
in that domain as members. When one of the local users sends to the list
with her addess, whoever@xxxxxxxxxxx, the message is rejected by the
list software even though whoever is selected under the list of
registered users; but, if I add whoever@xxxxxxxxxxx to the list of
external recipients, it will then work and she can send to that list.
Has anyone run into this issue before, and if so, any suggestions? If
this issue has been discussed before, if someone could point me to
information on it, I would be appreciative.
Thank you for your time.
