syslogd is not running.
try /etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog restart

if it says an error, it wasn't running.
it will start it up.

Hi, this message comes to admin every day (for yhe last week or so):

Subject: errors rotating logs

errors occured while rotating /var/log/maillog

syslogd: no process killed
error running postrotate script

Somone nows what this is, or nows how I can fix it or what to look for to
find out.
