Do you know someone who would know this?

So there are several ways for booting around a corrupted kernel
image (the ROM kernel and the /usr/games/.doug kernel).
What options are there for booting around a serious problem on
the root filesystem? Suppose e.g. libc.so is corrupted.
Is it possible to boot from a floppy drive or CD-ROM drive that
you'd connect directly to the RaQ? (I notice that the RaQ has
mount points for floppy disks and cdrom, so it's probably
possible to connect such devices to it?)
Warm greetings, Norbert.
