Hi, I am new here. I have a couple of questions about Apache/MySQL/PHP4...
I have a RaQ3. I see the old rpms from last April for PHP
(in ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/raq3/).
I've grabbed the php-4.0.3pl1.tar.gz from http://www.php.net/downloads.php
Is this the proper config line for the Cobalt supplied Apache? (1.3.6):
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs
(It's complaining that httpd isn't in /usr/bin...so before I go
off modifying the config, I thought I better ping here first...
Also, upgrade Apache before continuing?)
I grabbed the MySQL 3.23 standard binary rpm's... Any Cobalt-specific
twists/tweaks I need to be aware of? I know I need to grab the
Perl DBI module.
A concern of mine is the order (Apache, MySQL, PHP4, possibly Perl)
in which to upgrade things/get them installed - any dependency
issues?
thanks in advance for any insight,
Daniel
