RE: [cobalt-developers] Webalizer



to change file owner and group, use the command:

chown owner.group filename or
chown -R owner.group filename , the -R is for recursive which means it
descend down into subdirectories.

I believe webalizer will generate a new file each month, other than that it
should append information to curent file and leave ownership alone.

But will not webalizer change the permission again when the new stats file
gets generated every night? And I m a litle new to cobalt/linux and would
like to now how i change permision on a directory and how to do it  in a
file.
