Hi,
To start with it is not recommended to have primary and secondary name
servers on the same machine (Cobalt). So, if you don't have another machine,
you will have to use a secondary name server in a different machine (try
www.granitecanyon.com is good and free). Also you will have to register your
host name with Internic as HOST. This may take several days, by the way does
anybody knows acompany with a customer service WORST than NetworkSolutions
:)

My first time on this list :) I am on the RAQ3 by the way,

Can anyone tell me how to set up the dns server, In this i mean do i have to
register with internic the name ns.fijivillage.com and ns2.fijivillage.com?
or wot?

My site is fijivillage.com and I want to have ns.fijivillage.com as the
primary name for the dns and ns2.fijivillage.com my secondary,

Though I dont have no idea what to do or where to enter ns.fijivillage.com
to make it a valid dns name,

I know though how to set up dns records in terms of (A) records and so on :)

but the initial dns set up is a mistery to me :)
