Hi! I would have to dissagree with Jeff. If Jackson meant that he wanted to
add the vsite and user from one place, that is very easy to do on a cobalt
using the shell tools (We do that with our company, and we are going to add
an addon very soon, to our control panel (http://www.elitehosts.com/RaQBaQ)
that will allow you to add the vsite/user/dns from one screen)
If you are talking about allowing your customers to add domains/users/dns
you can do that as well, but you will need to keep a record of what they add
for billing.

Jesse is a real wise guy. About a year ago, in Sunday school, the
teacher said, "With God all things are possible." Jesse,
nine-years-old, piped up with "oh yeah, ever try striking a match on a
wet cake of soap?"
While all things are possible (including striking a match on a wet cake
of soap, some things are a lot easier than others.
You'd have to remove or disable the Cobalt gui so they can't use it (or
leave it if you don't care), and then create/install a new Apache server
running on another port (port 82 for example), and write your own
website to call scripts that'll do the work.
And of course, the scripts will have to do the work in a way that
doesn't break compatibility with the Cobalt gui, or else you'll never be
able to add, delete or change anything with the Cobalt gui again.
Cobalt has scripts designed to run from the command line which can
probably be rewritten to work as cgi scripts and do the job.
Lots of work, though, I'd imagine.
Jeff
