This isn't a flame, but I do want you to consider two things:  find me another
editor that can make complex document wide changes in so few keystrokes.  What
it lacks in user-friendliness it makes up for sheer power and efficiency.
Also, vi *is* part of the POSIX specifications, so everyone would be well
advised to learn it, it's the one editor you can always rely on to be there
for any POSIX Unix (which is most of them).
