i remember things that could be done even without ANY braincell

i never claimed to post instructions for a secure system in a 5-line
post where others need between 700 and 1200 pages just to explain basic
security.
as i don`t want to fall in a christian<->islamic-like discussion about
system security at the level of "do i use a path or not", please feel
free to use it without the path if you want to.
