Hello.
This is a History of bad service in the UK with Cobalt RMA's returned half
fixed. and Manufacturing Defects fixed on request.
RaQ3 Fault again I need another RMA this box is again DEAD the Ethernet
port has now gone intermittent. and since there is already a defect on the
link lights I cant ever know if the box is live on the network
This is now copied to cobalt-developers mail list seeing as you have done
nothing to help cure the poor service with the number of faults on my RaQ3 box.
IS THERE ANY ONE LISTENING OUT THERE IN COBALT. ???
...............
This mail thread is going to be sent to the cobalt-developers@xxxxxxxxxx on
Tuesday Morning unless I have news that on Tuesday Morning or during that
day I will have my RaQ3 replaced as per the agreement with Cobalt in the
USA some months ago
This was a Cobalt recall of ALL products RaQ3 with serials numbers in the
same range as my box here. There is a Manufacture's defect in the front
panel controls.
So when is the replacement going to be delivered. !!
Barry,
I believe there is a hardware defect in the first manufacturing run of the
RaQ 3 where the LINK LED on the front of the unit does not illuminate, due
to a missing resistor on the logic board.
Please get me the exact model number (which begins R39 ... ...) and the
serial number of the RaQ 3 unit you have, and I will check to see if you
have one of the affected units, and if so, I will work to get it repaired
or replaced for you.
Best Regards,
/Gordon Garb

Your comments on this please, sounds rather disturbing....
Yes I got the box back today from NL but not all the faults are fixed. THIS
IS F%%^&ing Disgusting Service.
Since I paid £45.00 to ship the thing back to the Office in NL
I do expect ALL the faults to be fixed.!!
Call me.
