Check to see if your text editor had wordwrap on - turn it off and reload
Perl scripts - (check to see if there is gas in the lawnmower before taking
it to the repair shop).  If there is gas in the tank and the wires are
connected to the spark plugs then try the following:

Here is a universal perl debugging script command that you will enter into
the command line after telneting into the shell:
perl -c program.cgi
or
perl -d program.cgi

Then type in h and hit enter this will pull up the help file for the Perl
debugging program and will provide all of the easy commands for locating any
bugs in your Perl scripts that are causing the 500 error.
