Re: [cobalt-developers] Automatically loading SCSI driver on Qube2?

Byron,

I was posting my comment, because I had the very similar message in my log file:
       scsi: 0 hosts

After upgrading to the C53 kernel it all loaded automatically.

BTW I have disabled in my 2930U all the BIOS related stuff. (this was based on my assumption that a MIPS processor could not run BIOS code which is Intel code.)

Hi,

Thanks, Jakob, but this kernel includes patches I submitted to support the 2930U. My problem isn't with the driver (it works fine, once it's loaded), it in getting it to load during boot time so that partitions on a scsi disk will mount without
manual intervention.
