Any special reason why you didn't tell us the real domain name? If you
had I could have trouble-shooted this by now and you'd have your answer
already <frown>.

Is your site stuff installed at the virtual site you've set up? Or only
at the main site?

Do you need to have DNS running on your system? Absolutely not.

Do you need to have DNS set for your domain Absolutely YES.

Since you didn't tell us your real domain name <frown>, I can't help you
further without more information.
