I don't recall this; I'll look it up. I've been at Internet World 2000
this week and have gotten very far behind in list-reading.
However, since there are long timeouts between DNS lookups, three would
probably be a viable maximum anyway <smile>.
I just responded to the original post.
I've developed some "workaround" procedures so the RaQ2 gui can be used
to set up viable DNS for .com, .org, and .net domains (and probably .edu
as well), but for most countries the RaQ2 gui isn't suitable unless give
you RaQ2 the same host name you've listed as your primary nameserver.
The RaQ3 has a much better interface, but if you're hosting DNS for
hundreds of domains, you're much better off ignoring the gui and working
directly inside linux.
I've got a job on my plate designing a complete interface (including
secure website and behind-the-scenes perl scripts to do DNS directly,
avoiding the gui interface. Unfortunately, I don't have time to get to
it.
