I have being trying to get rid of the Raq550 cced messages which Logcheck
sends but I can't seem to get the right sentex to use in
/etc/logcheck/logcheck.ignore
Here are some of the messages I want to stop logcheck from including the
e-mails it sends:
cced(smd)[28973]: client [0:28972] has admin rights
swatch[28972]: processing monitor namespace * (where * is name of a service)
sendmail[28984]: NOQUEUE: localhost [127.0.0.1] did not issue
MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
cced(smd)[28973]: client 0:[0:28972]: SET * (where * is some text after
SET)
Here is what I have tried to put in /etc/logcheck/logcheck.ignore file but
doesn't seem to work:
cced.*:*client*has admin rights
cced.*client*SET
sendmail.*NOQUEUE*localhost
swatch.*processing monitor namespace
Thanks,
SW
