[cobalt-users] Raq550 Error with http - files longer than 8 characters

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my Raq550:
Some links/pictures/etc I request from this machine, result in a "File not
Found" error

tail httpd access log when I open a working picture/file 03_05.jpg:

foo.bar.nl [my IP] - - [30/Jan/2004:00:50:51 +0200] "GET
/templates/yops_boxed_blue_lt/images/03_05.jpg HTTP/1.1" 200 1705
"http://foo.bar.nl/templates/yops_boxed_blue_lt/images/"; "Mozilla/5.0
(Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/106.2 (KHTML, like Gecko)
Safari/100.1"

tail httpd access log when I open a non-working picture/file: (which works
via FTP) box_leftcomponents_body.gif:

foo.bar.nl [my IP] - - [30/Jan/2004:00:51:05 +0200] "GET /baddatainform
HTTP/1.0" 404 1227 "-" "-"

tail httpd error log:

[Thu Jan 30 00:51:05 2004] [error] [client [my IP]] File does not exist:
/home/.sites/143/site2/web/baddatainform

The strange thing is, the file does exist, and with FTP there's no problem,
but only with HTTP.
I have a open directory, which lists the pictures, so I can open them
directly.
This can't be an HTML of PHP programming error, which makes it even
stranger.
This problem also occurs with some icons in OpenWebmail 1.81.

I've restored this Raq550 2 or 3 times, and after the 2nd time, this problem
arose (if I recall correctly).
The strange thing is, it seems only *long* filenames have this problem.
(long meaning longer than the old DOS 8.3 format).
The problem is platform independent, tested with Windows 2000 Pro / IE6 and
Mac OSX / Safari

Can anybody help me with this problem?
I've been searching for a couple of weeks now, and can't find any anwsers.

Thanks in advance,
