Hey guys,
Need some advice on a raq 550 which we have just done a restore on.
Previously they were enabled with frontpage extensions but after the restore
they lost this setting..
Through the web interface if I try enabling frontpage extensions I get this
on hitting save..
A FrontPage web could not be created for this site. FrontPage may
not be enabled if the existing web site contains files that conflict
with FrontPage webs, such as .htaccess files. - Yet the .htaccess files and
_vti* files are back in the directory..?
I've tried removing the .htaccess and the _vti* files and it's still not
working..
Also I've tried running the shell-tools command cmodvsite:
[root web]# rm .htaccess
[root web]# rm -fr _vti*
[root web]# ls
EasyWeb error index.htm postinfo.html stats [root web]#
/usr/sbin/cmodvsite --fqdn www.somewebsite.com --enable-fpx blahblah setting

I've got more than 10 sites that are refusing to enable frontpage
extensions..
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Leon
