Hi all;
My ISP has implemted port 25 blocking to outgoing connects
except the main mail server, even for my mail servers
So all my mail even from my local in house mail
server or my main hosting servers is smart relayed via my ISP's mail server
So far no problems. It stops any internal network
users from sending out mail that comes from an infected
box.. Usually!!!
In otherwords my ISP does not infect other networks on the
net even if a user is infected with one of the mail viruses
and because the mail server checks all outgoing mail for viruses
usually viruses can be nip in the bud so to speak
My ISP is very consumer frendly
The only problem is the incomming spam but I have been working on that
on my mail servers.. I am using several RBL's and that has help to some
extent.
