I've been thinking of doing the same thing. Is there a web management
interface similar to Cobalt's available for NetBSD? I'd like a more
up-to-date OS on my XTR, but have to maintain the GUI administration for
others that don't like CLI's.

If anyone finds something with a web management, I am interested in it for my Raq 2. (same MIPs) As far as I can find, there are a few choices, "factory" os, NetBSD, Debian, RedHat's 7.1, freebsd. None give me that warm -n- fuzzy feeling. I haven't tried webmin on anything other than OSX yet.

I did download the "restore" NetBSD iso and burned a CD and tried to netboot from my PC, but keep getting a error on the end of booting the PC. (Compaq) It does netboot with the Sun CD for the Qube 2. Must be the CD.
Maybe It didn't like being burned on a mac?
