There seem to be other developments for that good old raq.
Check here http://www.bluepanel.org/ no download unfortunately but seems very
nice. Currently only for the raq550 but rest is soon to arrive.
Wonder wheter this would work together with the qubalt project or wheter it
can be modified to fit in to it....
